FKB
High precision smaller radii
The FKB works according to the 3-roll bending principle, in which the upper roller rests along its entire length. In this way, very high precision in bending can be achieved. Furthermore, this principle allows the use of small upper roller diameters. This is decisive for narrow bending radii.
Originally, the HAEUSLER FKB was developed to meet the needs of the aerospace industry. In the FKB, the leading edges of aircraft wings, as well as parts of the fuselage and tail of aircraft, can be curved with great precision. However, its precision, as well as its easy handling and adaptability to almost any length, meant that the FKB quickly found its application in other sectors as well.
